Through the power of collective giving, this 24-hour challenge unites alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and students in philanthropic support of Michigan Tech. Whether it’s to scholarships, education, athletics, or experiences, your gift of any size will make a difference. And thanks to some of our most generous donors, you’ll have the opportunity to double or even triple the impact of your gift by meeting any of our matches and challenges.

Dow Foundation $2 Million Match

Double your impact with the Dow match! For every dollar donated to Chemical Sciences and Engineering Building Renovations, The Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation will match it, up to $2 million, funding renovations to the Chemical Sciences and Engineering (Chem Sci) Building. Upgrades include significant updates to HVAC systems to improve energy savings, air quality and circulation, and research experience. Additional updates will be made to collaborative spaces, teaching labs, and classrooms.

2025 Reunion Giving Challenge

In honor of his upcoming 50th reunion, Geoff Weller, Class of 1975 Reunion Giving Chair, is challenging alumni from this year’s honored classes—1955, 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1985, 1995, 2000, 2005, and 2015—to give back and unlock additional support. For every 10 donations from these classes, Geoff will contribute $5,000, up to $50,000, to Michigan Tech. Gifts to any fund will count. Don’t wait for August—celebrate your reunion with a gift today!

ECE Optics and Photonics Scholarship Match: Triple Your Impact

For every dollar raised, Eustace Dereniak '63 will match up to $20,000 in support of the Optics and Photonics Endowed Scholarship Fund. In addition, donations made to this scholarship during Give Back to the Pack will go even further as the International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE) will also match dollar-for-dollar any contributions to the scholarship fund. Combined, your gift will have a 3-to-1 impact!

Advanced Motorsports Enterprise Challenge

Unlock a bonus gift from an anonymous donor of up to $10,000 to the Student Vehicle Endowment Fund! Every 5 gifts of $100 or more to any of the four vehicle competition Enterprise teams—Blizzard Baja, Clean Snowmobile Challenge, Formula Car, and Supermileage Systems—will release $2,000 to the Student Vehicle Endowment Fund until the max of $10,000 is reached. Gifts made to the Student Vehicle Endowment Fund will count too.

The Civil, Environmental, and Geospatial Engineering Department spearheads the Senior Design Workspace, which provides students with a space to work on real-life projects. ROWE Professional Service Company will double all gifts, up to $5,000. Please help us support this exciting new project.

Help Endow the Bre Wakeham Memorial Scholarship: $2 to $1 Match

Bre Wakeham was a beloved member of the Michigan Tech community and her impact continues to live on. Help us honor her legacy by contributing to the Bre Wakeham Memorial Scholarship. Gifts will be used to establish an endowed scholarship, and for every $1 donated during Give Back to the Pack, $2 will be matched by an anonymous donor, up to $20,000.
